Thank goodness this homeowner found us on Houzz.com. Because of that ‘chance’ meeting, we now have been getting to do what several friends of Distinctive Interior Designs have called our ‘best work ever!’ Of course, it also takes having a client who wants a tremendous change (like knocking out walls), a significant budget and having awesome contractors at our fingertips–we’d be no place without them!
NOW–this is the massive kitchen reno we’re in the middle of…SO amazing to see masses of open space created and an entirely new footprint created when walls are knocked down! The new floor plan was decided upon after about 6 different CAD designs were considered.

Walls knocked down–wide open spaces!
Many late nights of thought, important selections and decisions, and TIME…loads of it…has gotten us this far. Black and white cabinetry, large square column elevated seating island with the most amazing counters, gorgeous hood details and TONS of functionality are what this beautiful space is all about!
We had the excitement of watching the counters be installed Friday night…even took a mini-video to commemorate the occasion! This week the appliances will be put in place and, last but not least, the baroque carrara backsplash. JUST CAN’T WAIT to celebrate!!
