Distinctive Interior Designs helped the lady of this 25 year old lake house transform a dark and masculine black /cherry cabinet kitchen into a bright, happy space almost solely with paint.
We were involved with the transformation of every aspect of this home, but the starting point was the kitchen! Beyond painting these quality cabinets, we suggested the chilly tile floors (set on a slab) be replaced with wood, and cabinets be removed in the dinette area to open up the space. Then we helped in the selection and implementation of new granite/ backsplash, pantry redesign, lighting changes, a fresh color pallette & custom window treatments.
